Mattias Lorentzon

Professor and Chief Physician in Geriatrics at the University of Gothenburg and the Osteoporosis Clinic, Sahlgrenska University Hospital Mölndal. Clinically active at the Osteoporosis Clinic and conducts clinical research primarily in osteoporosis and fracture risk. Previously served as the chair of the osteoporosis therapy group in the Västra Götaland region, chair of the Swedish Osteoporosis Society, and has worked for many years with the National Board of Health and Welfare's national guidelines.

Märit Wallander

MD PhD and specialist in General Medicine. General Practitioner at Borgholm Health Center, and Chief Physician at the Osteoporosis Clinic, Visby Hospital. Previously clinically active at the Osteoporosis Clinics of Karolinska University Hospital and Linköping University Hospital. Former board member of the Swedish Osteoporosis Society.

Certified DXA Interpreter (Certified Clinical Densitometrist). 


Kristian Axelsson

MD PhD, resident in General Medicine and Master of Science in Engineering. Conducts research in fracture risk and the benefits of treatment in various risk groups. Chair of the therapy group in the Västra Götaland region for several years and a member of the board of the Swedish Osteoporosis Society. Has also contributed to the latest national guidelines from the National Board of Health and Welfare and the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SKR).

Certified DXA Interpreter according to the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF/ISCD).


Andreas Kindmark

Associate Professor and Chief Physician in Endocrinology, Uppsala University Hospital. Clinically active at the Metabolic Diseases Clinic, specializing in the investigation of skeletal metabolic disorders, including bone density measurements using DXA and pQCT. Research focuses on hereditary factors influencing bone metabolism, with the research group working to identify genes that affect bone health in order to find new methods for diagnosing and treating bone diseases.
