Osteoporosis essentials
Swedish Fracture Prevention, in collaboration with the Swedish Osteoporosis Society, the International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD), and the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF), offers the course "Osteoporosis Essentials: Densitometry, Diagnosis, and Management Course."
This is a two-day course with material developed by IOF and ISCD, intended for healthcare professionals worldwide who work with DXA and osteoporosis. There are two distinct tracks, with the course for DXA operators and physicians conducted in parallel sessions. The course comprises a total of two full days and approximately 13 different sections.
This year's course will be conducted in English. Both the visual materials and course compendium are in English.
After completing the course, a digital examination will take place (included in the course fee). Participants will receive a link from IOF, allowing them to log in on any day following the course completion. You can read more about the examination here!
To enable us to calculate the number of course compendiums to print and deliver before the course starts, we request your registration as soon as possible, but no later than one month before the course begins. We accept registrations up to the day before the course starts, but the course compendium will then be sent out afterward.
Registration and payment are only possible via the IOF website. Payment is made by credit card at the time of registration, and we are unable to issue invoices.
